Week 15

This week i wasn’t feeling very well,l so i ended up missing a few online lessons, however i did do my second read through of my monologue (Iago) and the feedback that I got was to explore what happened before my monologue, so all the events leading up to it. To explore ‘Othello’ as a whole and to start thinking about how Iago was feeling whilst delivering the monologue so I can apply that emotions to my monologue.

I was told to hurry up and find a modern monologue but i just cant get my finger around it, every modern monologue that i have looked at doesn’t speak to me, i don’t feel any connection to them so I’m struggling a lot to find a suitable modern monologue.

I have also decided on my 2nd Shakespeare monologue which will be Richard III’s “now is the winter of our discontent”

We have also had a more in depth look at BoT (Box of Tricks theater company) and our personal job roles, However I already did so much research on it that there’s nothing else really left to research so I just went along and had a second look at the Fight choreography companies that i was referring to in ( Spring commission -> Research ).
