This week we are having a producers run, a producers run is when the money show up and watch the plays to decide if they get to be in the show or not. Luckily and with no surprise my group; the goat group, passed the producers run however the Hansel & Gretel group were not so lucky. Next day we had a tech run, which is a day that we have to set up all the lighting, make sure everything is in place and ready for the performances. This took some time put I managed to record the entire process. Half of us went to get make up artists to do our make up on the day of the performance whilst the other half learnt about health and safety. I did not get a make up artist as I had to record the entire process the tech/stage management. [videos]
For the rest of the week we have been deciding on what lighting effects to use and what sound effects to put in without making it too much or too little for our demographic (go to unit 2, Audience)
What we did well was, we managed to choose a good array of sound and lighting effects for our performance, however we still need to download them and send them to Mike to apply them to our performance
