I CONFIRM THAT THE WORK ATTACHED ASSESSMENT IS ALL MY OWN WORK AND DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY WORK COMPLETED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN MYSELF AND SOURCES HAVE BEEN APPROPRIATELY REFRENCED
NICOLAS TUFAILE FORSTMAN
The Props below are the given props of the play that we absolutely need!
19th century coins

The coins will be held by people, all the brown coins will be in Thomas (Alex Morgan) pockets for scene 4 where he will be shaken down by me, Jimmy and another Tiger, the coins will then be discovered by Jimmy and thrown on the floor because they are basically worthless. Thomas then picks them back up and stay with Thomas until the end of the scene.
The big silver coin is supposed to be on Jimmy (Ruben Martin) in scene 6 and Thomas (Alex Morgan) pickpockets it off him, but for practicality sake’s we’ll make it so that Thomas had it all along and make it seem like he pickpockets Jimmy.
All three of the Gold coins will be in Georges (Saeem) pocket and he throws 1 to a homeless man.
The brown and silver coins will be kept stage right and the gold ones will be kept stage left.
19th century Gin bottle

The Gin bottle will be introduced in scene 8 and will be held by Thomas (Alex Morgan).
The gin bottle will be kept in the wings on stage left Thomas will go and grab it from stage left and exit with it through stage left.
The gin bottle is then brought back into scene 10 and will be shared in-between Thomas (Alex Morgan) and Theresa (Sadie Booth), The bottle will come in stage left with Thomas.
4 Chalk rocks

I will be holding the 4 pieces of chalk rock on my person for scene 7, towards the end of the scene I will use one of the chalk rocks to draw a symbol on the ground so that Polly and another tiger know what to draw in Prussia Street territory. I then hand out 1 chalk to Polly, 1 to another Tiger and 1 to Jimmy.
The chalk pieces will be kept on the stage right prop table.
This is what the sign looks like.

Soldier medal

The soldier medal will be kept on Joe’s uniform throughout the play and will not be taken off until maybe the infirmary scene when Joe dies.
Hairbrush

The hairbrush is used by George in scene 6 when George is brushing Susan’s hair, he enters with it from Stage Left and Exits the Same way.
Baby

The baby will be wrapped in a blanket so the audience wont be able to see it, the baby is more there so that the actors that hold the baby actually have something to hold instead of miming it.
The baby will firs appear in scene 3 when Susan is carrying it entering from Stage right and leaves with it the same way.
The baby next appears in scene 6 when Susan is holding it whilst George brushes her hair, they enter from Stage Left and exit the same way.
The baby next appears in scene 8 when George comes in with the baby and Joe, they enter from Stage Left and exit the same way.
Bandages

The bandages will be used in the Infirmary scene, scene 15, to stop Georges and Joe’s bleeding. The bandages will be kept in the medical box.
Ear Forceps

The Ear Forceps will be used in scene 11, when Susan has a look into Margret’s ear and finds a dead butterfly in it and removes the dead butterfly with the ear forceps. The ear forceps will be kept in the medical box.
Surgical Needles

The surgical needles will be used in scene 15 to sew up George after the bleeding stops. The needles will be kept in the medical box.
Clean blankets

There are 3 clean white blankets that will be used in the infirmary scene 11. They are held and used by Nick, Ruben, and Alex Morgan.
Nick comes in from Stage Right and leaves that same way.
Ruben and Alex both come in from Stage Left and exit that way.
Bloodied Blankets

There are 2 bloodied blankets that will be used by George and Joe in scene 15.
Medical box

The medical box will be used in scene 11 and 15 to store all the surgical and medical equipment within it. it will be kept stage left for Susan (Alex SG) to bring in with her. however it will not be seen as its going to be kept just offstage on a little table behind the wings, so its just out of the audiences view.
Mop

The mop is used by Margret in scene 11 in the dispensary for cleaning the floor
The mop is set Stage Right
Knife

(Disclaimer! only the knife in the middle is going to be used however we have the other knives in-case something happens to the middle knife)
The knife will first appear in scene 7 when the man (Ciaran) walks in from stage left. however Thomas steals his knife and goes off stage left with it. he then returns (from stage left) with the knife in scene 9 and places it between him and Theresa in their bed. the knife then goes off with Thomas once again and is reintroduced in scene 14, where Thomas does the stabbings. for that scene he comes in from stage right.
The knife will initially be kept Stage Left, then took by Thomas and will be kept with Thomas from there.
Belts

The two belts on the left will be worn by Jimmy (Ruben Martin), one to keep his pants up and the other to fight with. The brown belt in the middle right will be worn by Thomas (Alex Morgan) and will not be used for fighting. Lastly the belt on the far right will be worn by Sean (Nicolas Forstman) and used to fight with many times. (These bets will be kept on us at all times)
Short sword

The short sword will be with Joe throughout the entire play and is only really used once to show off the light reflecting, however, it should be held with Joe throughout most scenes.
The short sword will be kept on the props table on Stage left.
