As you can see from my CV, I have recently completed my first year of performing arts with a merit, and am expected to gain distinction in Acting which I believe I can put to good use in this role. I also finish my studies at Clarendon Sixth Form College in May 2022.
This position particularly picked my interest because of my passion for Acting. During my studies, I researched and actively tried improve myself to learn topics such as Staged combat as well as backstage tech work with light/sound queues and how to edit films and such, which helped build more knowledge around performing arts as a whole in theater and film.
I further developed my interest for the industry by going to watch more plays and films to look out for all the stylistic techniques used to make them. For example, recently I have started making videos and editing them all by myself to put myself in the head of many of the editors that work on big films like marvel which helped me expand upon, and start practically applying, what I’ve learned in my studies and more.
I see the role of [Job Title] as the perfect position for me to make the most of my passion and enthusiasm, and also build the foundations for a successful start in my career in the Performing art industry.
